Cobble Hill Wines
For generations the Perowne family have successfully farmed the land here in North Norfolk and Robert Perowne, an experienced farmer and the driving force behind Cobble Hill Vineyard, had hopes of planting his own vineyard decades before the dream became reality.
The journey to producing award winning wines began in 2016 when the first vines were planted, three varieties were carefully selected to ensure they would thrive here at Cobble Hill.
Pinot Noir, one of the oldest known varieties, Pinot Noir lends well to our cooler climate and enables us to produce fantastic still and sparkling wines. Bacchus, an earlier ripening, reliable and consistent grape variety and Chardonnay, a trickier grape variety to grow but high yielding and versatile.
